I graduated in June of 2014 from UC Santa Cruz. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. I am currently studying for the GRE as I hope to enroll in graduate school. During college, I always enjoyed helping my fellow classmates with their studies. I took an upper division pedagogy course and was able to achieve an understanding and respect for successful teaching methods. I firmly believe that students should receive an education that is not only unbiased, but interactive and encouraging as well. I understand that every student is different and my goal is to help each individual discover the learning style that is most beneficial for them. I prefer to teach students in the math and science fields. I am skilled in algebra, geometry, elementary and middle school math, precalculus, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, anatomy, chemistry, biology, physics, and physiology. I am also qualified to teach reading, writing, English, and social studies. Furthermore, I excel at helping students with grammar and mechanics, essay editing, study skills and organization, and public speaking. I am currently located in Marin County, California. In my free time, you'll find me enjoying the beautiful scenery by biking and hiking. I also enjoy writing songs on my guitar.
